BIBLICAL THEOLOGY COURSE HOMEWORK AND PREPARATIONS:

We are excited that you have decided to join us as we study the Scriptures this year. We are hoping God will use this class in a big way in your life! In order for our time together to be as effective as possible, you are going to need to do some work, however. We want you to prepare for the class so that you are ready to participate in the discussion.

1. Finish last months assignments if you have not done so already: listen to Abner Chou lectures 9-19 on the Pentateuch and answer the questions that Josh posted as you listen.

2. Listen to Pastor Josh’s videos on Samuel and Kings - as you listen - write down notes in a study guide format. You can write them in the same way as the questions that you answered for the Abner Chou lectures

Pre-Session Assignments for Class #4

We never expected this, did we? Who could have expected the whole
country to be shut down like this. But, we are so thankful to serve a God
who is in control and using all these different difficult circumstances to
accomplish His will.

I want to help you keep moving forward even though we aren’t able to meet
as a class.

To do that, I am going to give you a little more homework. This way, even if
we aren’t able to get together physically next time, we will have a lot to
discuss over video chat! Also, I will make myself available to discuss what
you have learned every Saturday from 12 to 1, and I will send you a link, so
that we can talk “face to face.”

For this month you will need to:

2. Answer the questions while you listen

3. Read through the notes

4. Review the verses for the quiz

We are continuing our study and as you know, we want you to prepare for the class so that you are ready to participate in discussion. In order to do that, we are asking you to do the following four things.

  3. Write down 5 questions that you have as a result of your study and 5

    insights you received as a result as well.

  4. Do the assignments that are listed below.

We want our time together in class to be as effective as possible. So, you are going to need to do some work. We want you to prepare for the class so that you are ready to participate in discussion. In order to do that, we are asking you to do the following four things:

1.) Read the notes for class beforehand. This should be to familiarize yourself with them and have a general understanding of what will be discussed that week.

3.) Do the assignments that are listed below. 

4.) Write down 5 questions that you have and 5 things you learned that you didn’t know before
